Do you think he likes us??????

Okay I know it is pretty bad because the only thing I blog about is this poor little deer. I went to look out the window (I told you I do it all of the time) and the deer was laying on the grass and it scared me to death. So of course I had to take more pictures of him. Here is a good one, I am so mad that I didn't do the weeding that I wanted to do this morning because it would have been a perfect picture. Well after doing the army crawl to get the last one I went upstairs again and he was right back where he was the other day staring at our cat on the patio, Pico was growling at him.................crazy cat!

An active few days on the hill...........:)

So first thing in the morning I open the drapes and then the windows to let the morning breeze in. A few mornings ago around 6:30 I checked out the windows too see if I could see any wildlife. I spotted two bucks and watched them for a while. I got this picture as the biggest of the two decided to head over to the neighbors yard. Later that night I went out on the patio to light the BBQ and of course I looked around and saw nothing, just as I was going into the house, low and behold......they are back. This is a picture of the smaller one this time in our other neighbors yard.

So early this evening we went to the grocery store, Saturday run, you know for the things that you will need for Sunday........:). I opened the drapes because I was going to open the windows, a storm was coming and I wanted to have the breeze and I wanted to smell the rain. I know I can't help it, I am a freak about nature and wildife. So as I started to open the drapes I see my litte friend in the backyard, I mean actually on the grass. I watched as he walked around and then promptly laid down on the grass. The poor thing is so skinny and his breathing was very fast. I waited for a while and then snuck down in the basement and basically crept over to the window sort of hunched over as I walked ( I am sure you can all picture that) and lifted the camera up and turned the view finder towards me so I could actually see him without him seeing me. If I looked out the window I would have scared him off. So this is what I took of him. You may think this never ending story is over, oh you would be wrong! I came up stairs and was telling Kenny about how I got the picture, I looked out the door that goes out on the patio from the dining room and there he is staring inside the house. I was laughing when I saw him just staring into the house like he wanted to come in. I walked over to the window next to the door and took this one.
Remember in the beginning of this story I told you that a storm was coming.......remember? Here is the beginning of it right before sunset.

Here it is after the storm had pretty much passed us and started going towards the east. Kenny made fun of me because I basically stalked the poor deer and then kept taking pictures of how different the sky looked every 5 minutes. You know how that is, as the sun goes down the sky changes like crazy. I just love it!!!

This is the end, I promise no more pictures. I just love how the sky can change in a manner of minutes. BTW, the breeze is still blowing and it feels great!!!

Kenny's baptism all the way from Texas

This is Melody Wells and her daughter Alex. Kenny baptized Alex along with his companion Elder Lemiuex. They were visiting family here in Draper and Sister Wells called me and we met so we could take this photo for Kenny. Ken and I were both so excited to meet someone that knows Kenny from the mission field and especially that he baptized. What a great feeling!

What is he doing?

This is posted on Kenny's blog but for those of you who don't look at it then you can see what I got on my phone the other day. I was making dinner and I got a message telling me I have new picture mail. I opened it because I googled the area code and knew it was from someone in Kenny's mission. This is what I saw along with a message "your son's 6 month mark burning his tie", what a nut!!! He told me he wasn't really burning it while it was on his neck, that was only for the picture.

Fascination with a grasshopper

Here is our little Miss Hadlee enjoying a grasshopper that her Bompa showed her. She loved having it on her shirt. Ken would put it on her shirt and she would throw it off and then she would pick it up and put it on her shirt.....we all just laughed at her.

Here it is in her hand. Tyden would "never" pick one up and here she is with it in her hand........:) It is such a joy to be able to share these things with our grandchildren. We are so very fortunate.

Sucker fun!!!!

Yes once again I did what I could to get the kids hyped up on sugar so they could go home to their parents. My neice's came up for a visit with my sister and the kids. I always do what I can to give Autumn's kids noisy toys, candy, whatever it takes. It is my job as an Aunt to spoil the kids, of course Tyden and Hadlee were here so they all got in on the fun.

Here is Vicki and Autumn, they were jealous I didn't get them a sucker so they wanted a picture too!!!!!!

Another trip to the MTC

Well we made another trip to the MTC this morning. We took Kenny's sister and it was so fun to share that experience with her. Vicki was with us taking this picture for us, thanks V.......:) It was so fun to see all of the missionaries there with their white shirts and ties. Of course I thought of Little Kenny as I watched them go back and forth to their classrooms and yes of course I got teary eyed more then once. You know how I am, I can't help it. It was a lot of fun to see Jennie enter the MTC wearing her cute name badge.

I thought it would be funny to lay on her tiny little bed so Loni and Jennie joined in on it too!!!!
