I am doing my best to keep up with the blog and to step away a bit from FB. This past weekend was our 29 year anniversary. I feel so blessed to have had such a friend as my husband for so long. Someone who loves me unconditionally and has treated me like a queen for so many years. I am spoiled beyond measure that is for certain. He opens my doors, pulls out my chairs in restaurants, always holds my hand, I could go on and on. I realize that there are a lot of people who do not share what Kenny and I do and for that I thank Heavenly Father.

Random Sighting

I am doing my best to stick to my word about keeping up on this blog. Last night I went out on the patio to start the BBQ and this is what I saw on Ken's old Dodge. So random and funny that I had to take a picture, I was afraid no one would believe me.

Wow, it has been over a year since I have posted anything on this blog............can you say slacker. WAY too much to say or even try to say so all I will say is I will post on this instead of Facebook all of the time. However I won't bore you with all of my shoe posts.

Y Hike

Here I am with a friend of mine from work, Carol. We decided we would hike the Y this morning. She was a trooper, just getting over a terrible cold and all. We had a good time considering it is 1,000 feet up in less then a mile. What a view it was though!!!

Our Big Temple Day!

We went to the Temple today with Phil & Jessica. It was awesome! Here we are with our beautiful girls.

Here he is, Richmond Evan Sievers. 8 lbs. 1 oz and he was 20" long. Jessica did GREAT!

Jessica's baby shower

Here I am with my 2 beautiful girls this morning at Jessica's baby shower. It was so much fun and she got some of the most adorable things from so many good friends and family. Thanks to everyone for your kindness. I also wanted to post a picture of the diaper cake that Jessica made, isn't it darling........:)

So here is a photo of Isaac, his sweet fiance, and Jordan, and the rest of us. Jordan was Kenny's trainer and Isaac was in his district and did splits with Kenny. They came up for dinner and we had a good time and of coruse it was fun to hear stories about Kenny. The girls were teasing me about crying as soon as they rang the door bell. Nope, I didn't cry, can you guess who did cry frist though?

Yes it has been a while...........:)

So I don't know what else to say other then I am a BUSY BUSY Girl. Working full time and taking care of Ken has me going 100 miles an hour these days. Although, Ken is doing TONS better and we are "very" grateful for your prayers, believe me, we have felt the out pouring of love from everyone. Little Kenny has passed his one year mark, I can't beleive it, Jessica is due in less than 3 months, and Vicki and the kids are all doing great. We have a house full that is for sure but it is so fun to have the kids around and hear the funny things they say and see the funny things they do. Saturday night Ken, I, Sis, and Phil decided we would go to Temple Square after I got off work. We walked around and let 2 little Sister Missionaries show us a movie presentation, yes, I cried, whats new right???? Here are a few pictures of us there. It was too cold to take too many of them............:)

Doesn't Jessica look good? I remember being in my 7 month and feeling like my face alone weighed 100 pounds.

Ken likes to break ribs!

Here we go again!

Saturday night Ken was replacing the U joints on the truck and he clearly was not thinking and he did not use the emergency brake. After he took out the last bolt the truck started to roll backwards. (We moved and our new driveway is a bit steep.) He was not able to get out from under it and something grabbed his sweatshirt and twisted him up underneath the truck. Phil was out there with him but was able to get out in time. Thank goodness Phil was there with him and he was not alone. Against his wishes I called 911 so an ambulance could bring him to the hospital. I realize head wounds bleed and scare people but I also knew he was hurt in other places because he was unable to breathe without pain. Remember he broke his back and ribs in May so I am getting pretty good with all of this stuff..............:) We were informed in the Emergency room that he would receive 4 stitches in his finger on his left hand, 10 staples in his head,(which apparently is equivalent to 30 stitches) and a nice couple of days in the hospital. The punctured lung and 5 broken ribs (the opposite side of the broken ribs from the motorcycle accident)are the reason for the hospital stay. We are hoping he can come home today. More then likely tomorrow though.

So there you have it, I know, I know, there were many other things that could have happened, however, they did not. For that we are most grateful and are extremely happy that these injuries are not life threatening.

Out of touch

Can you say out of touch? I can, we moved and we have not had the Internet in over 2 weeks. I was going crazy, I was having to go to a hotel parking lot to hook on to their wireless to write to Little Kenny....ugh!!! So for now we are using a wireless card from Sprint. I just wanted to say that on Thursday while you all are cooking, relaxing, or cleaning be sure to watch Good Things Utah. I did a segment on it for women over 40 that still want to look stylish. Yes, that's right, over 40, there I said it!!! Please, Please, Please, remember that Television puts weight on you. I feel it important to say however that I truly have lost quite a bit of weight since you all have seen me so just remember that I am not has FAT as I am going to look. Oh yeah, be sure to check Little Kenny's blog on what is happening with him.

General Conference

Sunday morning Kenny said "hey you know what we should do, we should go downtown and see if we can get into the afternoon session of conference." Of course I was thrilled with the idea as I have never had the opportunity to attend conference. Vicki and Phil went with us as well and Vicki left her house before we did so she could wait in the standby line. We had numbers 62, 63, 64, & 65. I was excited but still had no idea where these seats were. They actually save very good seats for people that wait in standby. I just wanted to share some of these pictures with everyone. Also, it was a "beautiful" day!!!

Our fall foliage drive!!!

Well you all know how much I love to take pictures of nature so here are a few more. I have always told my kids when you see something in nature that is beautiful it is Heavenly Father's way of letting us know he is in charge. Ken and I went for a ride last weekend on the motorcycle to see the leaves changing and to just be together (that doesn't happen a lot these days with me working 2 jobs) so here are a few pictures from the ride.

I wanted to go this morning but it is raining up here so it is snowing in the mountains...........:( I can tell you that it is "freezing", I had to turn on the heater to take the chill out of the air. Don't be jealous..........:)
